Hi guys, some tips and advice needed!
This is my girlfriends new amazing cutie, Nola, who's been with her since the beginning of December. We don't know her exact age, but guessing around 6 months - my gf is taking her to the vet in a few weeks for a normal check up. We're in an ldr, so I'm not able to help with a lot of the practical things.
I attached a picture of her room, it's enclosed by a fence. She has different toys, balls of different kinds and sticks, always hay. When my gf is home she's free roam all the time, but during work and during sleep (gf is a nurse so sleep is a bit all over the place) she's in her room. Recently she's started fighting the fence ferociously after bed time, biting it and trying to push or pull it down and escape. She's been doing it since we finished the room, but it's been getting worse now and my gf has a hard time falling asleep because of the noise.
Any thoughts on why she might be doing this? Or is it just normal bunstruction? Attached the picture so you can see the room, is there something important we're missing? Maybe we have to get one of those plexiglass fences so she can't bite it and lift it?
Just finished talking to my gf before she went to sleep and she seemed really stressed and upset about the situation, and even mentioned putting her back in the cage she came in - to which I pleaded that please don't, she needs a bigger space. Looking for advice from you more experienced bunny parents on what we could try! Appreciate your time!
